Texture and Materials

At Union Avatars we use Physically based rendering (PBR), sometimes known as physically based shading (PBS), is a method of shading and rendering that provides a more accurate representation of how light interacts with material properties.

Only color map and normal map are allowed.

Other maps like roughness, metalness, emission, etc. must be deleted because they are not supported in many digital platforms.

All included maps must be in JPG format and have a maximum resolution of 1024x1024 pixels for size considerations.

Texture maps should be max. 150kb in size. If you images are heavier, please use https://squoosh.app/ to compress them.



Nodes in Blender

Color Map node in Blender must have the “Color Space” set to sRGB

Normal Map node in Blender must have the “Color Space” set to Non-Color.
